Avengers: Age of Ultron has only been in the theatre for two weeks at this point and within that period this movie has been able to reach sales that exceed $1 billion dollars (usd) worldwide. Marvel, a company now owned by Disney, has always been able to succeed in creating blockbuster action films and it seems that the second installment in the avenger’s trilogy is no different.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron takes place around the globe and is based on the superhero team that consists of the Hulk, Scarlett Witch, Quicksilver, Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawk Eye, The Vision and Nick Fury. This team is tasked with the job of taking down Ultron, a new program built by Tony Stark that takes on the wrong mentality of peace.
This action packed film has succeeded most in Northern America and Asia. So far this film looks like it’s on the fast track to make a total of $1.5 Billion before it leaves the box office. Afterwards when the Blu-Ray and DVD release of this film comes to markets all around the globe this film will be able to reach past the two billion mark and become one of the largest grossing films in movie history.
